I'm here at the ball field early with Zander while he plays pitch and catch with another one of his teammates that is here early as well.

I kill time by watching the bigger boys play in a current ongoing game. Kinda so I know what I am getting into in the future. How they act. How hard they work in the game. Just prepare. They were doing really good.

At one point one of the parents gets the coaches attention, by yelling to not continue the game. Looking over to what she was talking about, there were two LITTLE boys who were all dressed up in their cute little red and grey uniforms that had crawled under the outfield fence so rescue one of their balls.

I'll never forget her voice. Her laugh. The absolutely ridiculously goofy things she says... WHILE she's laughing.

But what this girl said in the bleachers and how she laughed, immediately reminded me of my once little princess, Rivers.

She had that silly silly giggle at the same time as she said "Aww, look! They're like little groundhogs." With much of a twang accent.

Though I wasn't sitting near them, I was able to peacefully enjoy that moment with a big smile on my face and reminisce of the sweet joys a very brief moment of my life could bring.
